This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Administrator to work within Early Help alongside the Designated Social Care Officer to improve process and links between education, health and care partners for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.  As part of this role, you will be required to co-ordinate and undertake admin support to SEND workstreams and work across services (such as, Family Help, Children’s and Adults Social Care, Health) to improve service delivery.

This position is full time (37 hours per week) based at Macclesfield Town Hall with hybrid working.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will support the Designated Social Care Officer to develop and embed effective processes to ensure that all requests for social care advice as part of the Education Health and Care Assessment and Review process are monitored, timely and of high quality.  You will provide administrative support for the organisation and delivery of training. You will attend meetings, prepare minutes, and draft reports. You will ensure that any data systems connected with the work of the section are properly operated, problem areas identified and suggestions for improvement made to facilitate accurate decision making.

  • An interest in supporting children and young people with SEND to achieve their outcomes as they prepare for adulthood
