Our Purpose

Business Support Service are looking to recruit Business Support Officers and Specialist to join their efficient and high performing team.

Your Role

We are recruiting for several Business Support Officers and Business Support Specialist positions across different teams within NELC Business Support. In addition to standard business administration responsibilities, we are also interested in the following skills:

Children's Safeguarding and Reviewing - Business Support Officer NJC06

We are seeking individuals who can contribute to the efficient and effective delivery of technical and professional services within the Children's Safeguarding and Reviewing unit. This role involves providing a wide array of administrative and business support services, handling highly confidential and sensitive information.

The role includes the responsibility of recording minutes for child protection conferences and meetings concerning looked-after children. Therefore, experience in minute-taking is crucial.

It is important to note that - this is not a front-line post, and you will not have direct 1:1 contact with the families concerned other than in the meetings you attend.

Family Time - Business Support Specialist NJC08

We are also looking for an individual that will contribute to the effective and efficient delivery of technical and professional services within our Family Time setting. This role involves a wide variety of administrative and business support tasks. Responsibilities include financial tasks, scheduling and coordinating meetings and transportation, and full-time reception duties such as welcoming parents, children, and professionals. The role also includes other tasks associated with the position.

Multiply Project in Education - Business Support Officer NJC06

We are in search of a person who can assist in managing the partnership of four local training providers. These providers are currently operating under grant agreements, delivering services to the local community as part of the Skills for Life Multiply program.

This is a Fixed Term Contract which will expire 31 March 2025 for 18.5hrs per week. NJC06

About You

This position may require you to work with sensitive and confidential information. Accurate data entry, excellent communication skills, effective relationship building and customer services skills are essential for this role.

Candidates will need to be organised, be able to provide attention to detail, use their initiative, problem solve, manage their time and be able to work in a team environment.
