Job Description

Approved Care and Support are a private care provider based in Oswestry. We are built on many years’ experience and are passionate about providing a quality service in and around the Oswestry area. We currently have positions available for male and female care workers and are looking for people to join our lovely team.

From £11.44 per hour

You must be a car/motorised driver with access to a vehicle to be able to complete this work.

Job Requirements.

  • Previous experience as a Care worker or similar role desirable, but not essential as training will be given.
  • A positive welcoming attitude and good communication skills.
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
  • Ability to work effectively and positively as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work hours as determined by the business, there are full-time and part time, evening, and weekend positions available.
  • A genuine caring nature, empathy and a positive attitude is required for this position.
  • A driver with access to a vehicle

Responsibilities for Care Worker

  • Dressing and undressing
  • Washing / bathing / showering / shaving / cleaning teeth
  • Toileting and all aspects of personal hygiene
  • Administration of Medication
  • Getting in and out of bed
  • Food preparation
  • General cleaning duties
  • Shopping
  • Social visits / Companionship
