CASS European Regulatory Operations
Glasgow

As a Barclays CASS European Regulatory Operations, you will have a great opportunity to oversight and being the first level review and approval of the Global Market Operations (GMO) daily, performing Client Money and Stock Shortfall calculations. You will also be responsible for operating daily preventative and detective controls to eliminate CASS risk.

What will you be doing?

• Ensuring a formal and timely escalation of issues to management whilst maintaining ownership through to a successful conclusion 
• Working in partnership with internal stakeholders with a point of accurately capturing any new CASS issues and performing thorough analysis 
• Preparing key CASS MI reporting, ensuring accurate submissions to various Boards and Governance Committees 
• Ensuring processes and controls in place are robust and continually evaluated to reduce the risk of breaches occurring
• Helping with the delivery of ad-hoc CASS training 
• Supporting delivery of the wider ORC team strategy 

What we’re looking for:

• Ability to work accurately on tight deadlines and process complex information and analyse complex problems and think logically
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex issues 
• Using excellent networking skills in order to build solid relationships with key stakeholders 
• Good awareness of FCA regulations and the regulatory environment

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Experience in practical application of FCA CASS regulation in an Investment Operations environment 
• Background in regulatory or financial reporting and/or operational investment
