Summary

We are looking for an experienced Digital & Technology Category Manager to join us on a 12 month FTC basis.

M&S is currently undergoing a significant transformation to ensure the business thrives in an increasingly competitive retail environment. We are making significant strides towards delivering our business strategy and there's never been a more exciting time to join.

As a Category Manager and a member of the wider Procurement team, you will contribute towards defining and delivering value to the Digital & Technology teams.

We have a hybrid approach working 3 days in the office - talk to us about part time or job share opportunities in this role, if it's meaningful to you, it's important to us.

Please note this role is a 12month fixed term contract.

Who you are

Your skills and experience will include

  • Strong category knowledge across Digital and Technology. A particular focus on retail is desirable
  • Good people engagement and influencing skills at all levels in an organisation. A good business partner
  • Proven experience across small to large-scale negotiations within procurement
  • Strong negotiation skills; ability to build and develop relationships with suppliers and internal partners
