Job Description

The key purpose of this role is to manage delivery of activities agreed by the Building Plymouth sector skills partnership to significantly increase workforce skills and improve recruitment and retention for construction and the built environment. 

 

This role will pro-actively engage in job centre settings and specifically connect claimants with sector opportunities for skills, training, education, careers and jobs.

 

We are looking for a flexible, self-motivated individual with excellent communication and people skills, as well as skills, knowledge and experience of working with/ in the construction industry, with a track record working in Skills delivery. There is also an expectation for the successful candidate to have the administrative skills required to complete skills action plans, track and monitor progress and destinations, report on contractual requirements and develop case studies.

 

This role is suitable for flexible working subject to the needs of the service
