Level 3 Early Years Practitioner 

Ofsted Rated Outstanding Nursery

£12.35 - £13 per hour 39 hours per week 

RAFAKidz Nursery, RAF Cranwell NG34 8HB

About us  

All children are special but at RAFAKidz we believe our children are extra special. RAFAKidz is one of the chosen providers of nursery services to the RAF (Royal Air Force).  Our nursery at Cranwell (near Sleaford) is one of 14 settings in the RAFAKidz family. The nursery itself has around 140 children with spaces in continued demand, supported by a team of circa 40 employees. In addition, we provide a Before and After School club which plays a key role in the community by offering this provision to 78 children. 

We are looking to welcome a new colleague who is Level 3 qualified, including newly qualified applicants looking to take the next step in their early years career path. If you can bring a motivated, enthusiastic, creative and ‘hands-on’ attitude, then please read on! 

We offer subsidised childcare for colleagues to be able to bring their children with them, high quality up-to-date training including using our software to electronically record your observations and updates. You’ll have ample annual leave and time off to relax and recharge over the Christmas period. 

We will give you a great induction experience, training and development opportunities and you’ll be learning on the job with committed and enthusiastic colleagues – it’s a real team effort! 

 A typical day in the role will include; 

  • Meet and greet families and build great relationships 

  • Using the EYFS learning outcomes to plan and carry out fun, educational and stimulating activities 

  • Updating and maintaining accurate records that fulfil Ofsted requirements 

  • Designated key worker responsibilities for a group of children 

  • Work with Senco to identify and support children with special educational needs and disabilities 

  • Role model to other colleagues and supporting them in their learning journeys towards qualifications
