Corporate Property have a vacancy for an additional Facilities Management Officer to join the Facilities Management team.  You will be one of three Facilities Management Officers but will also work alongside other members in the wider FM team,  providing services to over 600 buildings across the County. 

About The Role

The role will involve monitoring and managing all aspects of the facilities management sections of the corporate property contract. This will require working closely with LCC's facilities management main contractor and developing a good working relationship, as well as working closely with building users to ensure safe and compliant premises and that buildings meets their service needs.

The post holder will provide reports and monitoring data to the Senior Facilities Manager and will need to be adaptable and able to deal with dynamic situations as they develop, which can be a regular occurrence, therefore, the ability to be reactive and to prioritise work is essential.

The role is based in Lincoln and is a hybrid role but there will be a requirement to travel to premises within the County as part of the role and to attend the office as and when required, this is usually 2-3 days a week.

About You

Candidates will have property facilities management experience along with experience in managing, monitoring and instructing contractors, as well as some experience in budget management and contract management.

 You will also be able to work across a range of different work streams, displaying the necessary professionalism and confidence to work alongside and advise Senior Managers and Members, as well as engage with building tenants and/or key stakeholders.

We are looking for someone with the following skills/attributes;

  • Experience and knowledge in Facilities Management inc Key Performance Indicators, Hard and Soft FM
  • Enthusiasm and ambition
  • a quick learner, with excellent interpersonal skills
  • innovation and ability to adapt to changing situations
  • an understanding of property and Project management
  • Good organisational skills
  • A qualification/understanding of health and safety
