The role

This is a demanding, fast paced, forward thinking role- it’s not for the faint hearted but it will definitely be rewarding.  You will manage a team of 5 Officers who deliver a front line service to applicants on our Choice Based Lettings System, therefore a good understanding of Housing and Homelessness Law is required.  Demonstrable management experience is crucial to this role, whilst the team consist of experienced officers they will need your vision and guidance to get through the changes to our Choice Based Lettings System.  Working with the Housing Operations Service Manager to develop and review our strategies and procedures.  Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel and previous experience of a CRM system is advantageous.  With an excellent ability to produce reports and confidently interrogate systems you will work alongside the Housing Operations Service Manager to produce statistical information for relevant Boards and Cabinet.  Experience of working within budgets and to tight timescales is crucial to this role.   Networking and partnership building are also key to the role.  Now is an exciting time to join the team.
