Job Description

Early Years Coordinator

RAFAKidz High Wycombe HP14 4UE

£14.27 - £14.50 per hour 38 hours worked over 4 days

Subsidised childcare for staff

About us

Just like our children, we are growing! RAFAKidz High Wycombe nursery opened in April 2023 and we are looking for an experienced Early Years Coordinator to join us on our journey to grow the nursery into a thriving and stimulating environment for our children and employees.

About the team

Our new nursery is one of 14 settings in the RAFAKidz family. The nursery has capacity to offer 80 childcare places to include babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. Working closely with our Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager, you will be supported by our wider management team. You will also engage and share best practice with other nursery practitioners within the group – it's a real team effort!

About you

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a transformation journey, working closely with the Nursery Management team to strengthen and grow the quality of our care and our team. Previous experience as Room Leader or Senior Practitioner will be a great starting point for this position as RAFAKidz will invest in you and your development to enable you to grow in this junior management role. You will have a strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and current Ofsted statutory guidance along with proven practical experience of implementing good quality learning opportunities.

A key part of the role will be to support the coaching and mentoring of staff, helping the manager to identify staff training needs and to ensure highest levels of training are provided to staff. You will create and maintain enriching and high-quality educational environments which are safe, caring and stimulating at all times. If you are happy to be fully ‘hands on’ and passionate about quality childcare and education then we’d love to hear from you!

This post requires a satisfactory, enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check on appointment and every three years thereafter. A full role profile is available to download on our website www.rafakidz.org.uk

To apply, please send your CV and supporting cover letter to jobs@rafakidz.org.uk.

Closing date Wednesday 15 May

Applicants who meet the criteria may be offered an interview ahead of the closing date so please do not delay in submitting your application, we’d love to hear from you!
