Job Summary:

As an Initial Assessment Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in the educational journey of our learners. You'll oversee the delivery of presentations, enlightening learners about the myriad benefits of the qualifications we offer. Your responsibilities will include conducting inductions, assessments, and enrolments, ensuring each learner is on the most suitable educational path.

Located at : Defense School of Transport, Leconfield, Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire, HU17 7LX

Although based in Leconfield this role is a peripatetic and also covers Worthy Down, Kineton, Shrivenham, Brize Norton and Marchwood on an ad hoc basis.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of our programs and effectively communicate their benefits to learners.
  • Conduct induction, assessment, and enrollment processes across various locations in the UK.
  • Maintain accurate learner documentation, including training plans and individual learning plans.
  • Conduct reviews with learners, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Manage registration processes and address any absence or withdrawal issues.
  • Handle inquiries from learners and tutors with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Operate databases for qualification claims and certification issuance.
  • Maintain high standards of documentation filing and organization.
  • Provide administrative support across various departments when necessary.

Standard Expectations:

  • Adhere to safeguarding, health, and safety protocols.
  • Support data protection and equality/diversity policies.
  • Participate in staff appraisals and maintain compliance with company standards.
  • This role may involve other duties as needed to support the overall objectives of the company.

Qualification :

  • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check (DBS) is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Apprenticeships.
  • Possess a personable demeanor and a keenness for continuous learning.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Email.
  • Effective presentation delivery skills.
  • Hold a valid, clean Driving License.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel to various locations in the southern region.
