Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for a marketing manager to join our 15 strong marketing team that provides national marketing & communications’ support to Carter Jonas - one of the most well-regarded names in the property business. The team is based in the firms’ head office at the top of New Bond Street at One, Chapel Place.

 

Working alongside the marketing management teams of our Commercial, Rural and Planning & Development divisions the Residential marketing team take responsibility for the marketing activity of our Residential division. The Residential Marketing Manager is a key role within Carter Jonas’ marketing team; working as part of a small team this is a fast-paced role that would suit someone with residential property marketing experience looking to take the next step in their career.

Key tasks:

 

Strategic planning
Working with the Head of Residential Marketing develop the residential marketing plan in line with the business and marketing objectives for the coming financial year. Plan the activity schedule, ensuring that there is a mix of brand awareness and lead generation activities, plan the budget and people resources accordingly.

 

People/team management
Monitor objectives and performance, provide monthly updates to the business, brief/delegate to local marketing representatives, liaise with external suppliers and the graphics, digital, PR and events marketing teams to deliver the plan for the residential business.

 

Stakeholder management
Produce the monthly operations board report of activity and progress; when required delegate at meetings for the Head of Residential Marketing; attend and present at divisional and key-regional meetings; communicate the marketing plan to the residential division; keep stakeholders up to date on plans; manage expectations re: turnaround times, process, branding matters, etc; monitor and respond to internal client satisfaction.

 

Project management
Ensure activities are carried out to the agreed schedule and that any changes are communicated, lead best practice compliance. 

 

Budget management
Ensure that projects are delivered within budget and that any over spends are agreed with the relevant people (e.g. the Head of Residential Marketing), measure campaigns to calculate ROI.

 

Brand management
Ensure that all marketing communications follow brand guidelines, are true to the brand values and use the appropriate tone of voice, give guidance to local offices on any locally produced materials and ensure they use the in-house graphics team.

 

 

What does it take to be successful?

 

You will have ideally gained experience in a residential property marketing role, although experience in the residential sector is not essential. You will have an understanding of managing and overseeing the implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns, whilst being able to effectively prioritise workloads. You will be a strong communicator, with the ability to multitask and liaise with different stakeholders across the firm, as well as the ability to work with multiple agencies on complex marketing campaigns. You will have excellent organisation and project management skills and be able to track the progress of your work well.

It is key that the successful candidate has a thorough understanding of brand management and the importance of adhering to guidelines. This role would be ideal for someone looking to take a step up from a senior marketing executive role.
