The role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join British Airways as a People Strategy and Planning Manager.

Working in the wider People Strategy and Transformation team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of our People Strategy by managing effective communication and engagement plans, and ensuring the successful execution of our strategy and transformation programme.

What you'll do:

  • Support the delivery of the People Strategy and Transformation programme, influencing stakeholders and migitating risks. 
  • Manage progress tracking of initiatives using transformation tools, ensuring they meet key deliverables and remain within budget and timeframes.
  • Organise and deliver clear and consistent communications and engagement activity across our People directorate to boost overall engagement and alignment to our vision.
  • Manage and support the delivery of colleague events.

What you'll bring to British Airways:

  • A highly proactive mindset alongside a can-do attitude with creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to engage and influence at all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent organisation skills and confidence managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • A passion for continuous improvement and commitment to delivering high-impact results.

Your experience:

  • Experience working in a matrixed organization, demonstrating proficiency in managing change and continuous improvement is desirable.
  • Proven track record of stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and nurture relationships at all levels
