Lincolnshire County Council have an exciting opportunity for a Placement Support Worker to join the Fostering Service where you will work with and support foster carers and young people.

This position is based in Sleaford but you will need to be able to travel across the County.

This role is key to enhancing placement stability and further developing our support and training offer to foster carers who play a key role in caring for our young people. You'll assist foster carers within the Directorate in providing a Family Placement for young people in keeping with its duties under the Children Act 1989 and support them in understanding therapeutic parenting to enable them to meet the needs of the child/young person they are caring for.

We are looking for an experienced relationship based practitioner who approaches challenges with a curious creative mindset and is solution focused. You will have the understanding, compassion and experience of working from a trauma informed perspective to make a real difference.
