Planning Support Officer (full-time)

North West Leicestershire has lots going on in terms of development in the district and we need another Planning Support Officer to help with the administration work of our busy Planning and Enforcement Team. The job is a technical administration role and involves the use of specialist IT systems to scan and record information that relates to planning applications, the preparation of documents for our Planning Committee meetings and to act as the first point of contact for the team by dealing with customer queries on planning matters.

The district is varied and includes both urban and rural areas within the National Forest and Charnwood Forest, providing you with

the opportunity to be involved with varying types of planning matters to help you develop your skills and experience. Ideally we are looking for someone with previous experience of working in an administration role and using bespoke IT software packages. You also need to be customer focussed and an effective team member.

•           36.25 hrs per week with an annual salary of £23,500 to £23,893pa (pay award pending)
