N1071 Professional Assistant - Role Profile

 

We are looking for a Professional Assistant to join our Executive Support Hub, primarily supporting two Director’s for Children’s Services.

 

You will need to hold proficient IT skills, a high standard of communication, organisational and prioritisation skills and be a team player.  

 

The Executive Support Hub is responsible for the executive support provided to Plymouth City Council’s Senior Leadership Team. As a Professional Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks which includes; diary management, inbox management, file management, travel and accommodation bookings, meeting agendas and minutes as required, handling telephone calls and correspondence, and dealing with complaints as necessary.

 

You will be required to effectively communicate with other members within the Executive Support Hub on a flexible working basis, particularly the other Executive Assistant supporting the Children’s Services team. There will also be a requirement to cover for colleagues within the team as required during periods of leave/absence.

 

The ideal candidate will hold a knowledge of the Council’s services and functions, and have notable experience in providing administrative support.
