Full time 37 hours per week (permanent contract – FPS0535P)

Offering Hybrid working arrangements of partial home/office working

Salary Grade 2 i.e. £23,500 - £24,702 per annum

 

We are looking for a confident individual who can provide administrative support to the team processing Council Tax billing, Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction. If you have experience of working in an office environment, have good customer service skills and the required level of qualifications, numeracy and literacy set out in the person specification, we would love to hear from you. Full training will be given for the right candidate.

You will be part of the Revenues and Benefits Administration Team providing support to the teams within Benefits and Council Tax.  This will involve undertaking tasks associated with applications of Housing Benefit, Council Tax discounts and Council Tax liabilities.  You will be responsible for dealing with customer queries either in person, telephone, email or in writing.  You must therefore have effective communication skills, both written and oral and have the confidence to deal with difficult or sensitive situations.

This position will be subject to a Basic Disclosure & Barring Service check.
