The role of the Social Work Team Assistant actively contributes to the development, recruitment, and retention of qualified social workers in North East Lincolnshire. This position offers valuable exposure to the responsibilities of a social worker whilst delivering a key business support role to our Social Work teams.

Your Role

We are looking to recruit 2 Social Work Team Assistants to support the smooth running of Business Support for teams of qualified social workers. The role will assist in the processing of full end to end servicing of meetings that are of a high standard and provide a high-quality customer service to our internal and external customers with timely responses and solutions to queries. The role will also process, format, collate and assemble documents. The role will be exposed to records of a sensitive nature and undertake essential financial support E.g. raising purchase orders and processing invoices on behalf of the service.

As part of the central support model, you will be responsible for an efficient delivery of Childrens assessment and safeguarding services as part of a cross functional and multiskilled team ensuring work is completed within agreed standards and timescales.

This position will require you to work with sensitive and confidential information.

Applicants will work on a blended role profile where there could be a mixture of home/office-based working - this will be dependent on the needs of the services we support.

Start date: In line with our Day One: NEL Induction Process', we would like to aim to have the successful candidate in post by 1st July 2024.

This role is a blended working role (the duties of the role may require a blend of home & office working in line with needs of the service)
