Job Description

We are looking for a confident, motivated, and ambitious individual to join our contract management team based in Birmingham as a supply chain coordinator. You will be maintaining and delivering high quality, comprehensive and professional support to our major asset management contracts with support of the asset management coordination team to ensure compliance, drive best practice, value for money and performance.

Main tasks: 

 

  • Assisting the Operations Manager to establish supplier compliance and audit process for the supply chain.
  • On site supplier audits (H&S)
  • Working with the AMC team to ensure property compliance in relation to property management.
  • Reviewing current processes and ways of working using a LEAN approach.
  • Working in collaboration with internal stakeholders to establish best practice whilst developing strong relationships.
  • Handling enquiries from prospective suppliers, scoping supply requirements for new contracts with the mobilisation team.
  • Ensure supply chain management is in line with contractual requirements.
  • On-boarding new suppliers ensuring they comply with Dwellant/Safe Contractor and other CJ system requirements to include all compliance/risk documentation and signed terms of engagement.
  • Ensure the supplier contract is fully compliant with the terms of the framework in which the work sits under.
  • Performance scoring and reporting – chair monthly KPI meetings with suppliers and take responsibility for resolving performance issues and instigating remedial plans.
  • Report supplier performance to key stakeholders at review meetings as required.
  • Conduct supplier compliance audits and CJ internal audits
  • Ensure all processes are documented and reviewed regularly in line with ISO9001

 

What will it take to be successful? 

 

We are looking for an ambitious individual with previous experience of working in supply chain management or similar role, with experience of LEAN working and process review. You must have strong time management and prioritisation skills. As a strong team player, you need the ability to work in a busy environment, comfortable with multi-tasking, communicating directly with both colleagues and suppliers, and working under pressure to meet deadlines. 

 

You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to manage and build strong relationships, as well as having the confidence to use your initiative and manage your workload effectively. As a key team member, you will demonstrate confidentiality while providing a professional service, whilst demonstrating the desire to broaden your knowledge base and experience. It is also important you have strong Microsoft Excel skills, along with experience of using other Microsoft Office programmes.
