Salary - Up to £60,000 with a total package of £66,600 (car/car allowance)

Location - Flexible location and hybrid working with some travel to our Cannock or London office

We are currently looking for a talented Test Manager to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract. The Test Manager is responsible for overseeing the testing activities for a project that covers multiple applications supporting the end-to-end business processes for the asset/facilities management business.



The Test Manager role involves coordinating the testing for a significant number of end-to-end processes, ensuring the readiness of applications for testing, facilitating the creation of test scenarios with the business, managing defects, tracking re-testing, and recommending an effective test management tool that integrates with Jira.

What will you be doing?

  • The Test Manager will coordinate and manage the testing activities for the project assigned.
  • Collaborate with the business and product teams to ensure the timely creation of test scenarios.
  • Conduct learning reviews on the effectiveness of the test management approach and act on any opportunities to improve the process.
  • Monitor delivery of the test management phase providing clear reporting of progress to the project team and business stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in testing activities.
  • Encourage the use of tools and technologies that support sustainable testing practices, minimising any environmental impact.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and address any concerns.



What are we looking for?

  • Experience in coordinating testing activities for projects involving multiple applications and end-to-end business processes.
  • Familiarity with defect management and tracking processes.
  • Experience in recommending and implementing test management tools.
  • Knowledge of Jira or similar issue tracking systems.
  • Certifications in software testing, such as ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
