Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant

As part of our commitment to uphold the key principles of the Armed Forces Covenant, Networks of Wellbeing Ltd (NoW) has pledged to:

  • Recognise the value serving personnel, reservists, veterans and military families bring to our business.
  • Promote the fact that we are an armed forces-friendly organisation through our website and social media platforms.
  • Continue supporting the employment of Veterans, Reservists and Service spouses and partners and recognise military skills and qualifications in our recruitment and selection process. We have also committed to working with the Career Transition Partnership and the Forces Families Jobs Forum to support the employment of Service leavers and spouses.
  • Support our employees who are, or wish to become, members of the Reserve Forces, granting additional leave for annual training and supporting mobilisations and deployment.
  • Provide flexibility in granting leave for Service spouses and partners before, during and after a partner’s deployment.
  • Support Armed Forces charities and celebrate national events including Armed Forces Day and Remembrance events.

NoW is proud to be a holder of the Armed Forces Covenant Bronze Award.

About us

Networks of Wellbeing Ltd (NoW) is a long-standing, person-centred, community-based Mental Health and Wellbeing Charity with over 30 years of experience in working in mental health.

NoW embraces the principle that continued wellbeing means that personal health is influenced by experiencing balance and meaning across a range of areas of life, (physical, social, emotional, employment, housing, identity and self-esteem) as well as being, and feeling actively connected to, and engaged with, the community in which they live and work.

Over the last 30 years NoW has become recognised for it's progressive 'can do' approach, and has grown and evolved to become an organization which provides a range of positive mental health and wellbeing support services and activities for people aged 12 and over, and which are delivered by a team of dedicated and experienced staff and volunteers.
