Description

Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant

The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) is committed to supporting the Armed Forces Covenant, and we recognise the value of employing all members of the Armed Forces Community (AFC) within our organisation. We strive to support the values of the Armed Forces Covenant in many ways, including:

  • The establishment of an Armed Forces Network, which is open to employees who are members of the Armed Forces Community or those who are interested in supporting the network and the work we are doing to support and grow our AFC.
  • The implementation of a dedicated ‘Reserve and Cadet forces Training and Mobilisation Policy’ that is easy for employees to refer to for clarity on support offered by the NHSBSA.
  • The introduction of a guaranteed interview scheme for all Armed Forces candidates who meet the essential criteria for any of our vacancies.
  • Offering a range of additional benefits to help support our AFC employees.
