Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
At NHS Golden Jubilee we are fully committed to the Armed Forces Covenant. We understand the wide range of skills and experience which service personnel and their families have to offer. We acknowledge the transferrable skills they bring with them gained through their years of service and support to the wider military communities.
NHS Golden Jubilee actively supports employees who are members of, or wish to join, the Volunteer Reserve Forces. We have policies in place which offer support through paid leave for training events.
We recognise that the values held by Service personnel and their families are in line with our organisation values.
About us
NHS Golden Jubilee combines the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital with hotel, and conference facilities and centres for research, clinical skills and innovation. This integrated approach, with a focus on continuous learning and strong links to academia and industry, creates a crucible for innovation and a vibrant network for the spread of learning and best practice.
Our patient-led approach to healthcare encourages an ethos that is open, questioning and participative; everyone is encouraged to speak out and be actively involved in the quest for continuous improvement and innovation.
As a National Centre we provide healthcare to patients from across Scotland. We specialise in Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Cardiac and Thoracic and some General Surgery. We are also home to a heart transplant service.
We pride ourselves in our innovative approach and are proud to support other parts of NHS Scotland to deliver a first class service to our patients.
