Sanctuary

Description

Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant

At Sanctuary we have a long history of supporting veterans and their families. Over the past 20 years we have offered a range of support to those who have served in the armed forces, primarily through our housing service.

In 2017, we signed the Armed Forces Covenant and we have recently been accredited at Bronze level of the Defence Employers Scheme, ensuring that we remain committed to proudly supporting service personnel.

We are committed to supporting veterans and service leavers so they can apply for housing in their local area and be part of the community, while also providing meaningful employment opportunities where veterans and reservists can build a civilian career.

About us

Sanctuary is a not-for-profit housing and care provider which was set up more than 50 years ago and now provides housing and care in England and Scotland to more than a quarter of a million people. We currently own and manage more than 116,000 homes, making us one of the largest housing associations across the UK and employ around 14,000 people.

Our mission is to build affordable homes and sustainable communities where people choose to live while supporting people into long-term employment where they can make a real difference to our customer’s lives.

We offer a wide variety of types of roles from care assistants, housing officers and gas engineers, and are committed to developing our staff while also offering a great benefits package.

You can find out more about the roles available at Sanctuary by visiting Careers at Sanctuary (sanctuary-group.co.uk).
