Scottish Water

Description

Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant

Scottish Water is committed to the inclusion of employees who are members of the Armed Forces community and recognises the valuable contribution that regular and reservist personnel, veterans and military families make to the community and in the workplace. Scottish Water has a positive approach to the recruitment of ex-service men and women, Reservists and the families of those who continue to serve. We recognise the special circumstances of the spouse, partner and family of members of the armed forces and will take the military commitments into account when reviewing requests for leave or a change of location. Our Family Carer and Special Leave Policy and Agile Working approach will be fully utilised to support the needs of family members of the armed forces. Scottish Water will support employees who are members of, or wish to join, the Reserved Forces and recognises the benefits to the individual personally and in their employment. Scottish Water will continue to meet the commitments given as part of the Armed Forces Covenant.
