Description

Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant

Staffordshire Police supports the Armed Forces and their families along with Veterans and reservists in recognition of their service to the country.

Having signed the Armed Forces Covenant in 2022 the Force had made commitments to support the continued service of reservist whilst also actively seeking to recruit Police Officers and Police Staff from the Armed Forces community including the families of those serving. The Force launched a new staff association called the Armed Forces Network to bring together veterans, reservists and families of those serving who work for the Force. This network provides support and mentoring opportunities. The Force has also changed its HR policies to provide additional support to employees from service families.
