Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee but also connection. We’re a neighbourhood gathering place, a part of your daily routine. Get to know us and you’ll see: we are so much more than what we brew. We make sure everything we do is through the lens of humanity—from our commitment to the highest-quality coffee in the world, to the way we engage with our customers and communities to do business responsibly. At Starbucks we’re committed to supporting family members of those in the forces. We know that you may need some flexibility, which is why we’re committed to supporting you as best as we can through supporting the employment of Service spouses, partners and family members. We are committing to provide flexibility in granting leave for Service spouses and partners before, during and after a partner’s deployment and provide flexibility, where possible, in location if relocating due to partners Service.
About us
Working in a Starbucks store is different from any other job. You’re creating genuine moments of connection with our customers, handcrafting delicious beverages and building relationships with our customers. We offer great benefits and an environment that is truly welcoming.
Baristas are the face of Starbucks. They’re an important part of our customers’ day, and experts in handcrafting delicious beverages.
Shift Supervisors help direct work on the floor. They run shifts and lead the store team. This role is a great way to develop your leadership skills.
Assistant store managers inspire our customers while developing their management skills on their journey to running a great store on their own. You’ll support managing a P&L, building schedules, leading a team and nurturing talent.
Store Managers run their store as if it belongs to them – from managing daily operations to taking responsibility for financial results. This isn’t a back-room management position, but focusses on the front line connecting with customers and partners.
