Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
In 2022, we have received the Gold award in the Employer Recognition Scheme. In 2021 we attended online recruitment fairs, signed up a team to the Big Battlefield Bike Ride in support of Help for Heroes, held specialist training for our veterans on the emotional freedom technique and held our first online meeting.
We also have influenced a change to the leave policy. As part of the leave policy, our reservists already receive paid time off for their training, but we have now extended this to include paid leave for our Cadet Force Adult Volunteers (CFAVs). Over the next year, we’re putting a focus on training, mental health, supporting armed forces charities and expanding our network.
