Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant

ATT is proud to have signed the Armed Forces Covenant (AFC) to affirm our commitment to the Armed Forces community. The AFC is a promise by the nation ensuring that those who serve or who have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, are treated with fairness and respect in their communities.

We have received the Gold Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme in recognition of our intent to support and advocate our armed forces personnel.  The ERS distinguishes commitment and support from UK employers for defence personnel, their communities and families.  Our 21 academies have all pledged their support for the AFC, with each being awarded their individual Gold ERS.  Our vision is to ensure that all children and young people, regardless of their background, fulfil their educational potential and maximise their life chances.  As a charitable organisation, we epitomise working inclusively within our communities, embracing the varied localities we serve.

About us

We are an Ofsted rated GOOD academy in Grays, Essex and a part of Academy Transformation Trust.  Our mission is to transform learning, aspirations and opportunities for our students and the communities in which they live.  This commitment also extends to our staff who are the key to our success.  We believe that every child does matter and that confidence is at the heart of their successful achievement.  Our way of working is to build trust through high quality working relationships, which engages students and all those involved in their learning, thereby giving them the confidence to achieve successful outcomes.
