Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
The QARANC Association recognises the value serving personnel, reservists, veterans, and military families bring to our communities and our business.
About us
The QARANC Association is a charity registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales. The Patron of the Association is HRH The Countess of Wessex, our Colonel-in-Chief.
The Association maintains and supports the ethos and traditions of the Corps and assists in raising the Corps' profile. The Association is managed by a Board of Trustees. The Chief Nursing Officer (Army) is the ex-officio President. The Chairman is a retired senior officer and other members include all ranks of both serving and retired members of The Association.
The Association has its own publication, the Gazette where you can catch up with all our news and events. You will receive two copies a year with your membership. All serving and retired members contribute to the Association's funds. Serving personnel receive support on operations, grants for adventurous training, sporting activities and personal/professional development. Retired members receive grants towards social activities and assisting them to support their wider branch communities. The Association offers financial assistance for serving and retired QARANC members, depending on need. More detail can be found on our How we Help page.
