Our two-day Business Start-Up Skills course expands on the content from our Self- Employment Discovery workshop, which we recommend you attend prior to booking onto this course. This course provides members of the military community specific training to enable them to launch and sustain a business. The workshop takes a deep-dive into your business plan and contains a mixture of down to earth practical advice and essential business tools to start a successful business. The aim is to equip potential entrepreneurs with the tools to move forward with their ideas from planning to launch.     Monday, January 8, 2024 - Friday, February 9, 2024 Cardiff and Vale College

    Building Heroes - Construction Multi-skills Course - Wales. Our programme is designed to equip our learners with essential skills, boost career prospects, and provide a supportive community that understands the unique challenges faced by those who have served or are connected to the military. The course will provide learners with a Level 1 Construction qualification, as well as Level 1 Health and Safety and a CSCS card. Our next course runs from Monday 8th January to Friday 9th February at Cardiff and Vale College. It is open to veterans, service leavers, reservists and their families across Wales. Ideally, learners need to be enrolled by Dec 1st to have plenty of time for us to prepare before Christmas. Click to find out more and enrol.

    Whether you’ve already started working on your business idea or are just beginning to consider self-employment, come along to our X-Forces Enterprise business workshop and meet like-minded people. You will be guided to discover the pros and cons of self-employment for you, and offered personal support during the workshop. The host will be able to answer all your questions. By the end of this one-day workshop you should be able to make an informed decision as to whether starting a business is right for you.
    The online workshop is open to military spouses, partners and immediate family, and is on Thursday 4 January.
